Chaos Theory by ShockOne
The ‘Chaos Theory’ release by ShockOne is destroying the clubland dancefloors across the globe at the minute. The Australian producer who has his Cable debut on October 19th, 2012 – further details here – will no doubt be dropping this and when you check out the tune you will understand why and will be glad that he is headlining the Viper room as Funkatech’s Specimen A dominates the other on the night.
This is the third single from his forthcoming album which will be titled ‘Universus’. After the success of the previous releases – ‘Crucify Me’ & ‘Relapse’ – I suspect that this will be one of the biggest bass laden albums of the year and possibly eclipsing some of the biggest names in the game.
DJ Support for ‘Chaos Theory’ is coming in from: Knife Party, Nero, Chase & Status, Matrix & Futurebound, Sub Focus, xKore, Excision, Camo & Krooked, 501, Drumsound & Bassline Smith, Seven Lions, Delta Heavy, DJ Hype, and many more.
After listening to the full release which I have been respectfully privy to I can confirm that this release is most definitely the full 5 stars. With a couple of radio edits and the album version, I must say though, the dubstep mix is sheer quality with some proper high-end production work but the drumstep version is just an assault on your stomach with the belly-churning subs and ear-drum perforating screeches. It is speedier and with a more frantic drum track as you would expect. If you like the radio version that you’ve heard, the drumstep mix is superior and a must-have for any DnB head.
‘Chaos Theory’ by ShockOne is released on October 21st, 2012 by Viper Recordings
