Zone Of The Enders Remix Edition by Konami – EXCLUSIVE
Many a producer of music not only releases their work amongst the masses via the Gallup Charts but also through various others media such as film, television and also gaming. ‘Zone Of The Enders’ also known to the hardcore gaming elitists as ‘Z.O.E.’ sees some well-known names amongst the games soundtrack tracklisting. The ‘Zone Of The Enders Remix Edition by Konami’ has the established names of globally renowned producers such as Eshericks, Wrexx, Specimen A, Smooth, Daigo Kawai and a string of others which – including myself – are not the well-known in certain parts of the world but adored by many who are based in other stretches from different continents.
“‘Zone Of The Enders’ is a video game that was developed and published by Konami in 2001 for the PlayStation 2. It was produced by, and is closely associated with, Hideo Kojima. The game is based around mecha combat. The mechas were designed by Yoji Shinkawa, the character and mechanical designer for the Metal Gear Solid series. The game was originally sold packaged with a preview demo of the then-upcoming Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty. A sequel, ‘Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner’ was released in 2003 – also for PlayStation 2. Both games will be released for PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, and Xbox 360 in October 2012 as part of the ‘Zone of the Enders HD Collection’.”
But this is about the tunes that the game incorporates. Because this is based around gaming the pace has to be upbeat, with pace and with a certain sense of urgency because without urgency desire loses its value so the tracks that have been created are to a degree high in tempo and with a flurry of energy and tension. As this is a remix edition of the tunes that have existed on the previous versions of the game have been given a new lease of life with further additions of bass, electro effects and still containing the pressures and the weight of duress that the character must be going through within the game itself.
The music as whole is a combination of Japanese Pop, wonderfully orchestrated compositions combined with various styles of electronica from frantic drum and bass to uplifting trance.
‘Zone Of The Enders Remix Edition by Konami’ is released on October 24th, 2012 by Konami Digital Entertainment
